Transmetro fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

Transmetro Corp. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2015, was 4 Australian cents per share, a decline of 12.4% from 5 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$571,880, a decline of 12.4% from A$653,130 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue fell year over year to A$15.0 million from A$15.3 million, and total operating expenses came to A$13.7 million, compared with A$13.8 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income fell 15.4% year over year to A$619,000, or 5 cents per share, from A$732,000, or 5 cents per share.
