Rocky Mountain Liquor Q2 profit falls YOY

Rocky Mountain Liquor Inc. said its second-quarter normalized net income amounted to C$42,790, a decrease of 82.3% from C$242,070 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin fell to 0.3% from 1.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 7.9% on an annual basis to C$12.6 million from C$13.7 million, and total operating expenses decreased 5.3% on an annual basis to C$12.3 million from C$13.0 million.

Reported net income increased 96.6% from the prior-year period to C$1.1 million, or 2 cents per share, from C$577,980, or 1 cents per share.
