Jordan-based First Insurance Co. named Alaa Abdul Jawad CEO of Solidarity First Insurance Jordan, effective March 1.

Jawad will replace Ali Al Wazani, who will leave the unit Feb. 27, according to First Insurance Chairman Ashraf Bseisu.
