Banco Santander SA appointed Conor Hennebry head of its European debt capital markets business, sources told Thomson Reuters' IFR.

Hennebry was most recently head of the U.K. and Ireland financing and solutions group and co-head of European corporate bond origination at Deutsche Bank AG. He will run the new issues business in his role at Santander, the newswire noted.

Stuart Montgomerie, who had been in charge of debt capital markets and syndicate, will move to a role as global head of syndicate, the report added.
