Digital Adventure Inc. said its second-quarter normalized net income was 76 Japanese sen per share, compared with a loss of ¥3.34 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥8.1 million, compared with a loss of ¥18.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 0.7% from negative 2.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 82.2% year over year to ¥1.13 billion from ¥622.0 million, and total operating expenses climbed 68.7% year over year to ¥1.10 billion from ¥655.0 million.
Reported net income totaled ¥11.0 million, or ¥1.03 per share, compared to a loss of ¥58.3 million, or a loss of ¥10.73 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Aug. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥100.91.
