Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $403,130, a decrease of 55.0% from $895,000 in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 0.3% from 2.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased 21.9% year over year to $41.8 million from $34.3 million, and total operating expenses grew 24.3% year over year to $38.5 million from $31.0 million.
