Amazon quietly launches skincare products line

Amazon.com Inc. last week quietly rolled out an exclusive skincare and beauty products line called Fast Beauty Co. on its platform, CNBC reported March 13.

The report said Fast Beauty Co. is the first line the e-commerce giant launched from its brand accelerator program, which helps entrepreneurs create private-label brands to be sold exclusively on Amazon.

The brand was founded by Latvian models and sisters Simona and Diana Kubasova, according to the company website. New York-based dermatologist Dhaval Bhanusali helped develop the skincare range, CNBC said.

Fast Beauty products include face, neck and lip masks and makeup-removing wipes, among other items. Most of the products are priced $5 and above.

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
