Gaming Corps Q1 loss widens YOY

Gaming Corps AB (publ) said its first-quarter normalized net income came to a loss of 38 Swedish öre per share, compared with a loss of 34 öre per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 3.9 million kronor, compared with a loss of 1.9 million kronor in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 98.8% year over year to 21,000 kronor from 1.7 million kronor, and total operating expenses climbed 31.7% on an annual basis to 6.2 million kronor from 4.7 million kronor.

Reported net income came to a loss of 6.2 million kronor, or a loss of 61 öre per share, compared to a loss of 3.0 million kronor, or a loss of 55 öre per share, in the prior-year period.

As of May 26, US$1 was equivalent to 8.29 Swedish kronor.
