Freesia Macross Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to 19 Japanese sen per share, a decline of 8.9% from 21 sen per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥87.0 million, a decline of 8.9% from ¥95.5 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 2.9% from 3.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 9.0% on an annual basis to ¥2.98 billion from ¥2.73 billion, and total operating expenses rose 12.8% year over year to ¥2.77 billion from ¥2.45 billion.
Reported net income declined 28.7% from the prior-year period to ¥62.0 million, or 14 sen per share, from ¥87.0 million, or 19 sen per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
