Bodegas Esmeralda SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to 53.0 million pesos, a rise of 18.2% from 44.9 million pesos in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 13.4% from 13.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 16.2% on an annual basis to 396.5 million pesos from 341.3 million pesos, and total operating expenses increased 13.0% on an annual basis to 311.9 million pesos from 276.1 million pesos.
Reported net income rose 22.9% year over year to 55.1 million pesos, or 1 centavos per share, from 44.8 million pesos, or 1 centavos per share.
As of Feb. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 8.67 Argentine pesos.
