Continental Resources to repay $500M loan with senior note private placement

Continental Resources Inc. is launching an offering of senior notes due 2028 to repay in full and terminate its $500 million term loan.

The senior notes are being offered to eligible purchasers in a private placement, according to a Dec. 4 news release. Continental Resources plans to use the rest of the proceeds to pay down debt under its revolving credit facility.

Continental Resources is an Oklahoma-based oil producer with positions in the Bakken, SCOOP and STACK plays.
