ConocoPhillips to acquire assets in Alaska from Anadarko Petroleum for $400M

ConocoPhillips agreed to acquire Anadarko Petroleum Corp.'s 22% non-operated interest in the Western North Slope of Alaska and its interest in the Alpine pipeline for $400 million.

Daily production from these assets for 2017 came out at 63,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, according to a Feb. 1 news release. ConocoPhillips will also have 100% interest in about 1.2 million acres of exploration and development lands, including the Willow discovery, as part of the deal.

Subject to regulatory approval, the transaction has an effective date of Oct. 1, 2017.
