Netflix Inc. is planning to test a cheaper pricing tier in Asia, the company's CEO Reed Hastings told Bloomberg News.
Hastings did not say exactly when or where a test will take place. The company, however, does plan to reach 100 million people in India who speak English and can afford the service, according to the report.
Netflix recently announced a number of new titles for its viewers in Asia as part of its efforts to expand original content operations in the region.
