Nutri Dar Co. Q4 profit climbs YOY

Nutri Dar Co. said its fourth-quarter normalized net income amounted to 65,200 dinars, a gain from 860 dinars in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.5% from 0.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 19.8% year over year to 4.2 million dinars from 3.5 million dinars, and total operating expenses climbed on an annual basis to 3.7 million dinars from 3.6 million dinars.

Reported net income increased 17.1% from the prior-year period to 37,800 dinars, or 0 fils per share, from 32,280 dinars, or 0 fils per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 554,000 dinars, an increase from 75,510 dinars in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue decreased on an annual basis to 13.6 million dinars from 13.8 million dinars, and total operating expenses decreased 9.4% on an annual basis to 12.0 million dinars from 13.3 million dinars.

The company said reported net income grew on an annual basis to 782,570 dinars, or 9 fils per share, in the full year, from 151,730 dinars, or 2 fils per share.

As of March 30, US$1 was equivalent to 71 Jordanian fils.
