Micron names new CFO, raises fiscal Q2'18 revenue outlook

Micron Technology Inc. announced the appointment of David Zinsner as senior vice president and CFO, effective Feb. 19.

Zinsner will replace CFO Ernie Maddock, who is set to retire. Maddock will remain as a company adviser through early June.

Zinsner, who most recently served as president and COO at Affirmed Networks Inc., will report directly to Micron President and CEO Sanjay Mehrotra.

Separately, Micron raised non-GAAP revenue guidance for the second quarter of its fiscal 2018 to between $7.20 billion and $7.35 billion from $6.80 billion to $7.20 billion.

EPS is now expected to range from $2.70 to $2.75 compared to prior guidance of $2.51 to $2.65.

Micron will hold its fiscal second-quarter earnings conference call March 22.
