New York-based private equity firm launches operations

Gray Eagle Capital Partners LLC, a lower middle market-focused private equity firm, launched Jan. 14.

It will make equity investments of up to $30 million per transaction in family-owned North American businesses with over $1 million in EBITDA. Gray Eagle will target sectors including business services, value-added distribution and healthcare services.

Gray Eagle was co-founded by Allam Taj and Christoph Ganz.
