Far East Hotels & Entertainment Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to HK$756,810, compared with a loss of HK$4.0 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
Total revenue rose 66.7% year over year to HK$28.1 million from HK$16.8 million, and total operating expenses grew 15.9% on an annual basis to HK$27.1 million from HK$23.4 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of HK$177,470, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$8.1 million, or a loss of 2 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
