Kroll affirms PNC Financial, PNC Bank

Kroll Bond Rating Agency affirmed Pittsburgh-based PNC Financial Services Group Inc.'s A+ senior unsecured debt rating and K1 short-term debt rating.

The rating agency also affirmed PNC Financial unit Wilmington, Del.-based PNC Bank NA's AA- deposit and senior unsecured debt ratings, and K1+ short-term deposit and debt ratings.

The outlook for all long-term ratings is stable.

The ratings are based on PNC Financial's diversified business model and revenue streams, which have shown stronger financial and business profiles in comparison with many major banks in the United States.

The company's capital ratios are considered sound and PNC Financial maintains strong liquidity and funding profiles.
