PE firm Egeria acquires commercial aircraft painting company

Private equity firm Egeria bought a majority stake in MAAS Aviation Group, a commercial aircraft painting company, for undisclosed terms.

The company will benefit from financial support from Egeria and execute its plans for further growth as a result of the acquisition, according to a May 23 release.

MAAS's executive management team will retain its minority interest, while its majority shareholder, founder and executive chairman Darragh Hall will leave the company after almost 40 years.
