ConocoPhillips expands board, appoints retired admiral as member

U.S.-based exploration and production company ConocoPhillips said Oct. 5 that it expanded its board of directors from 11 members to 12 members and that it appointed William McRaven to serve as a board member.

McRaven, who retired from the U.S. Navy in 2014 with the rank of admiral, will serve on the company's audit and finance committee and its human resources and compensation committee.
