The U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division has closed an investigation into Omnicom Group Inc. subsidiaries without taking any action, according to a Nov. 13 SEC filing.
In December 2016, the DOJ sent subpoenas to units of Omnicom and Publicis Groupe SA as part of a probe into potential price fixing in video-advertising production.
The probe reportedly sought to determine whether the companies inappropriately secured contracts for their in-house production divisions.
