California-based developer Five Point Holdings and City of Hope, a not-for-profit cancer research and treatment center, agreed to build a $200 million outpatient cancer treatment facility in Irvine, Calif.
The facility will be part of FivePoint's Great Park Neighborhoods development which is being built on the former El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. It will also serve as the anchor for a new medical campus with multiple care and wellness facilities.
The FivePoint joint venture that owns the Great Park Neighborhoods master-planned community donated the land on which the cancer center will be built.
