Centene Corp. has shuffled its executive management and has appointed Cynthia Brinkley chief administrative and markets officer with continued responsibility for U.S. and international markets.
Brinkley will also be responsible for a newly formed transformation office, project management, integration planning and other office services including facilities and physical security.
Centene also named Brandy Burkhalter executive vice president of operations. She will be responsible for products, shared services and other business operations.
The company further announced that Claudio Abreu, executive vice president of specialized markets, business operations and shared services, will continue in that role and will assume additional responsibility for new business contracting, provider strategies and quality programs.
Additionally, Chris Koster, senior vice president of corporate services, will continue in that role and will assume responsibilities for compliance, internal audit and risk management.
Chief business development officer Brent Layton will continue in his existing role and will also assume responsibility for international business development.
All the changes are effective June 8.
