Wesfarmers' Bunnings opens 2nd UK warehouse store

Home improvement retailer Bunnings Warehouse, a unit of diversified Australian company Wesfarmers Ltd., on April 12 opened its second U.K. store in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, in England.

The warehouse store has 40,000 square feet of space.

In February, Bunnings opened its first warehouse store in the U.K., which is also in St. Albans.

Over 50 new jobs were created for the second store, while 30 new positions opened at its first store.

The home improvement retailer plans to invest up to £500 million to open more warehouse stores in the U.K. and Ireland over the next three to five years.
