Britvic PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended April 10 amounted to 14 Great British pence per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 17 pence per share.
EPS increased year over year from 13 pence.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £36.2 million, an increase of 9.2% from £33.1 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to £678.0 million from £650.3 million, and total operating expenses climbed from the prior-year period to £607.2 million from £585.7 million.
Reported net income increased 6.8% on an annual basis to £40.6 million, or 15 pence per share, from £38.0 million, or 15 pence per share.
