Deutsche Bank names head of technology in the Americas

Deutsche Bank AG named Ajay Shah head of technology in the Americas, Reuters reported Sept. 7, citing an internal memo confirmed by a spokesperson.

Shah is a managing director who previously was the German lender's head of communications and software infrastructure investment banking, the news outlet wrote. He will remain based in San Francisco in the new role.

The move is part of the company's efforts to improve its investment banking franchise while restructuring other businesses, including equities and bond trading, according to Reuters.
