De Grey starts reverse circulation drilling at Toweranna gold deposit

De Grey Mining Ltd. has started a reverse circulation drilling program of least 5,000 meters at its Toweranna gold deposit, part of its Pilbara Gold project in Western Australia, according to a March 13 news release.

This resource extension drilling, which will test mineralization to a depth of 250 meters, is expected to be completed in March. Following this, a program of deeper diamond drilling is planned to test the resource potential at up to 400 meters and then 800 meters.

The company has also defined a new exploration target of 9.6 million to 11.2 million tonnes at 2.1 g/t to 2.3 g/t for 680,000 to 800,000 ounces of gold.
