China Taiping Insurance expects 25% decline in FY'16 net profit

China Taiping Insurance Holdings Co. Ltd. expects to report an approximately 25% decline in its net profit attributable to shareholders for full year 2016.

For the 2015 full year, the company had reported net profit of HK$6.34 billion, or HK$1.781 per share.

The company said Jan. 26 that the decrease was primarily due to relatively higher realized gains from the group's equity investments during 2015.
