S&P: Japan Housing Finance Agency to issue mortgage-backed notes

Japan Housing Finance Agency seeks to raise about ¥199.5 billion through the issuance of series 128 fixed-rate residential mortgage-secured pass-through notes, S&P Global Ratings said Dec. 11.

The notes have a fixed rate of 20.3% and are due 2053.

The company will issue the notes mid-December and the transaction will close Dec. 22.

As of Dec. 8, US$1 was equivalent to ¥113.53.
