Athene Holding announces pricing of upsized secondary common share offering

Athene Holding Ltd. announced the pricing of a secondary offering of 27,500,000 of its class A common shares, an increase of 2,500,000 class A common shares from the original offering amount, at $48.50 per share.

Certain Athene shareholders are selling the class A common shares and the company will not receive any proceeds from the offering.

The underwriters were granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,125,000 class A common shares from certain of the selling shareholders.

The offering is expected to close April 3.

Goldman Sachs & Co., Barclays, Citigroup and Wells Fargo Securities are the joint book runners of the offering and representatives of the underwriters. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BMO Capital Markets, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, RBC Capital Markets, Evercore ISI, Keefe Bruyette & Woods, Sandler O'Neill + Partners LP, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and UBS Investment Bank are the book runners.
