Viridium CEO/chairman resigns; replacements named

Calgary, Alberta-based Viridium Pacific Group Ltd. said Steve Serenas resigned as chairman and CEO due to personal reasons.

The Canadian cannabis company's COO, Jarrett Malnarick, will take over CEO duties on an interim basis. Meanwhile, Viridium board member Michael Steele will assume the role of chairman.

In separate news, the company said it will consider a request to add Sean MacNeil as an additional director to the board.

The proposal to add MacNeil comes from a group of four shareholders who hold a sufficient number of voting rights to materially affect the control of Viridium.
