ATX Seed Ventures rebrands, appoints former VantagePoint Capital partner

ATX Seed Ventures said it is rebranding to ATX Venture Partners as a sign of its continued focus on early-stage venture capital investments in technology companies in Texas and south central U.S.

The name change follows the closing of ATX's second fund, which raised $32 million for investments in early-stage technology companies and follow-on investments in current portfolio companies, according to a Feb. 28 release.

Additionally, ATX, which has more than $60 million in AUM, brought in Stephen Gray as strategic partner to oversee capital development and investor relations. Gray previously served as a partner at VantagePoint Capital Partners for eight years.
