Grand River Insurance names chief underwriting officer

Grand River has named Gregory Barth chief underwriting officer of Grand River Insurance, a managing general underwriter of commercial lines insurance.

Barth previously was a senior vice president and chief underwriting officer of American Mining Insurance Group, a unit of W. R. Berkley Corp.

Also, Grand River Insurance has named Kelly Bowman, Kristy Cabral, Karen Gena, Jaclyn Johnson and Cheryl Wisler as new account executives.

Bowman, joined the company from Specialty Insurance Group and Cabral joined from Foremost Insurance.

Gena, previously served at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Johnson and Wisler joined the company from Cincinnati Insurance Cos.

Grand River Services, which provides claims administration services to business underwritten by Grand River Insurance and other affiliates, has named Jennifer Bougher as a claims executive. She joins Grand River Services from ASU Group.

Grand River Insurance and Grand River Services are units of FC Capital Partners.
