Prime Storage paid $100 million for a waterfront warehouse property in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., The Real Deal reported, citing property records.
The 223,000-square-foot warehouse at 62 Imlay St. was sold by a partnership between the Fruchthandler and Schron families, according to the report.
Auction house Christie's leased the property in 2009. The Real Deal noted that it is unclear if the tenant intends to stay on under the new ownership.
Prime Storage and Christie's did not immediately respond to comment requests, and the Fruchthandler and Schron families could not be reached, the publication added.
