E'grand Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥2.74 per share, a decline of 88.5% from ¥23.93 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥43.8 million, a decrease of 68.2% from ¥137.5 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 1.1% from 4.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 25.3% on an annual basis to ¥3.81 billion from ¥3.04 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 34.1% on an annual basis to ¥3.69 billion from ¥2.75 billion.
Reported net income fell 40.6% year over year to ¥101.0 million, or ¥6.33 per share, from ¥170.0 million, or ¥29.59 per share.
As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
