Restaurant Brands International Inc. said Sept. 27 that it will launch Burger King restaurants in the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The restaurant chain operator said AS Tallink Grupp acquired the exclusive development rights for the three countries. Restaurant Brands and Tallink agreed that the term of each license for the restaurants will be for 20 years.
Tallink will open the first Burger King location in Tallinn, Estonia, in the coming winter season, followed by launches in Latvia and Lithuania in the first half of 2020.
