Kairos Capital ups lithium landholding in Chile by 150%, plans name change

Kairos Capital Corp. increased its lithium landholdings in Chile by 150% in terms of land size, to 15 properties covering 134,200 hectares, from 12 properties totaling 53,600 hectares.

The company added 4,600 hectares to its Salar de Helados project, staked 68,100 hectares in the Salar de Pintadas and staked 7,900 hectares in the Salar de Llamara.

Kairos Capital also said Nov. 27 that it is planning to change its name to Lithium Chile Inc. to better reflect its business focus, with a shareholders meeting planned for mid-December.

In addition, the company nominated Andrew Bowering to its board, after the sudden passing of Douglas Stuve on Nov. 22. Bowering is a founder, director and significant shareholder of Millennial Lithium Corp.
