Shoreline Equity Partners LLC invested in Florida Veg Investments LLC, or Mr. Greens, in partnership with its management.

The management team will maintain a significant ownership position and continue to lead the company.

Five Star Food Service Inc. President and CEO Al Recher and Results Thru Strategy's founding partner, Fred LeFranc, joined the board of directors of Florida Veg. Recher and LeFranc also advised Shoreline on the transaction.

Nuveen LLC, Pvt. Advisors LLC, investors affiliated with The Hillman Co.., NXT Capital LLC and Florida Veg's management co-invested alongside Shoreline.

NXT Capital provided senior financing, while Nuveen provided junior debt financing for the transaction.

Florida Veg is a produce, dairy and dry goods distributor that serves clients ranging from restaurants to retail clients.

Shoreline focuses on the lower middle market and invests primarily in specialized manufacturing, value-added distribution as well as business and industrial services sectors, among others.
