Asmo Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to ¥10.12 per share, a decline of 40.5% from ¥17.00 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥141.9 million, a decline of 40.5% from ¥238.4 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to 3.2% from 6.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 13.7% on an annual basis to ¥4.38 billion from ¥3.86 billion, and total operating expenses increased 19.6% year over year to ¥4.16 billion from ¥3.48 billion.
Reported net income decreased 57.0% from the prior-year period to ¥187.0 million, or ¥13.34 per share, from ¥435.0 million, or ¥31.03 per share.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
