Atlas Financial receives noncompliance notice from Nasdaq

Atlas Financial Holdings Inc. received a delinquency notification letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC on Jan. 6 stating it was not in compliance with the exchange's listing rule as the company failed to hold an annual general meeting of shareholders during 2019.

The company could not hold an annual general meeting in 2019 due to the delay in the filing of its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2018.

Atlas Financial intends to timely update the exchange's hearings panel with respect to its compliance plan as requested by the staff. The company also intends to hold an annual general meeting of shareholders in 2020 following the filing of the quarterly reports on Form 10-Q for the quarters ended March 31, 2019, June 30, 2019, and Sept. 30, 2019, with the SEC. The reports will be filed no later than Feb. 28.
