Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 amounted to 24 Bermudian cents per share, a gain from 12 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 1.2 million dollars, an increase of 94.6% from 606,380 dollars in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 6.2% year over year to 29.8 million dollars from 28.1 million dollars, and total operating expenses rose year over year to 27.7 million dollars from 26.7 million dollars.
Reported net income rose 79.3% year over year to 1.9 million dollars, or 38 cents per share, from 1.1 million dollars, or 21 cents per share.
As of Dec. 5, US$1 was equivalent to 1 Bermudian dollar.
