Renaissance Capital names VP of i-banking for Lagos

Renaissance Capital Ltd. appointed Adedapo Akinpelu as vice president of its Nigerian investment banking division in Lagos.

The executive will collaborate with the firm's investment banking team across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

Akinpelu was most recently employed at QG Investments Africa Management Ltd., where he was responsible for originating and executing private equity investments, covering healthcare and general industries investments across Sub-Saharan Africa.

This appointment follows the firm's recent hiring of Ayobami Oladosu and Akinlolu Akinbola, to beef up its sales trading team in west Africa.
