Empresa Agrícola San Juan S.A. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to 3 Peruvian céntimos per share, compared with a loss of 1 céntimos per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 2.1 million soles, compared with a loss of 631,880 soles in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 8.0% from negative 9.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose year over year to 26.0 million soles from 7.0 million soles, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to 21.2 million soles from 6.6 million soles.
Reported net income came to 3.3 million soles, or 6 céntimos per share, compared to a loss of 1.0 million soles, or a loss of 2 céntimos per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Oct. 31, US$1 was equivalent to 3.36 soles.
