Sunjuice Holdings Q3 profit falls YOY

Sunjuice Holdings Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income was NT$2.42 per share, a decrease of 11.8% from NT$2.74 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$65.7 million, a decrease of 11.7% from NT$74.4 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 8.8% from 12.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 20.6% year over year to NT$748.6 million from NT$620.8 million, and total operating expenses increased 28.0% year over year to NT$643.0 million from NT$502.4 million.

Reported net income fell 11.6% on an annual basis to NT$70.2 million, or NT$2.58 per share, from NT$79.4 million, or NT$2.92 per share.
