Emerson Padio said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 9 cents per share, an increase of 63.0% from 5 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $2.3 million, a gain of 63.0% from $1.4 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 10.2% from 6.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 9.8% year over year to $22.9 million from $20.9 million, and total operating expenses grew on an annual basis to $19.2 million from $18.7 million.
Reported net income came to $3.0 million, or 11 cents per share, compared to a loss of $1.4 million, or a loss of 5 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
