Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc. paid $75 million to purchase The Bindery building in New York City from a partnership between Brickman Real Estate and Third Point Management, The Real Deal reported, citing unnamed sources.
According to the report, the life sciences and technology office real estate investment trust plans to transform the 175,000-square-foot, three-story property at 30-02 48th Ave. into a life-science center.
The publication could not obtain a comment from Alexandria and Brickman representatives regarding the matter.
