BCI shareholders approve dividend, capital injection

Banco de Credito e Inversiones SA shareholders approved a dividend of 1,000 Chilean pesos per share for the financial year of 2016, according to a regulatory filing.

They also agreed on two capital injections worth 46.52 billion pesos via the issuance of 1.38 million shares and an ordinary injection of 170.08 billion pesos.

The designation of directors Klaus Schmidt-Hebbel Dunker and Hernán Orellana Hurtado was also approved.

As of March 31, US$1 was equivalent to 665.23 Chilean pesos.
