Jernigan Capital registers common shares under ATM program

Memphis, Tenn.-based Jernigan Capital has registered to sell from time to time up to $100 million of its common stock pursuant to its at-the-market equity offering program.

The sales agents for the offerings are Raymond James & Associates Inc., Jefferies LLC, KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., BMO Capital Markets Corp., B. Riley FBR Inc. and Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc.

Jernigan Capital intends to contribute the net proceeds to its operating company, Jernigan Capital Operating Co. LLC, in exchange for a number of the latter's units equal to the number of common shares sold in the offering. Jernigan Capital Operating plans to use the net proceeds to fund the company's investments and for general corporate purposes, including potential debt repayments.
