Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group Plc reported a mean gender pay gap of 44.1% and a median pay gap of 35%, based on a snapshot of its earnings taken in April 2017.
JLT disclosed a mean bonus pay gap of 75.8% and a median bonus pay gap of 64.4%. The proportion of male and female employees that received bonus payments stood at 73.9% and 69.4%, respectively.
The company said it is undertaking a number of initiatives to promote gender equality across the firm. These include making sure that equal number of graduate males and females are encouraged to apply, ensuring equal number of male and female employees participate in the group's leadership program and considering the best female candidates for senior recruitment.
The U.K. government has required companies with more than 250 employees to disclose their gender pay gap figures by April 4.
