Five of Select Income REIT's properties received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Energy Star certification.

The assets are the Waterview Four at 7958 S. Chester St. in Centennial, Colo.; South Jefferson Street 400 in Chicago; Capitol Tower at 400 SW 8th Ave. in Topeka, Kan.; Grand Boulevard 2555 in Kansas City, Mo.; and Rogerdale Road 6380 in Houston.

Select Income's manager and RMR Group Inc.'s majority-owned subsidiary, The RMR Group LLC, manages the buildings.

The certification indicates that the properties have better energy performance than at least 75% of similar buildings, according to a release.
